Noise

Why is there so much annoying noise 

It’s not calming 

It’s not music 

It's the pounding of pavement 

The screeching of drills 

The annoyance of construction that makes me want to bash my head against the wall just to make it stop 

Oh how quickly all these stupid condos- that no one is going to buy- would go up in flames 

All it takes is one good explosive and it’s back to rubble 

But it would start again 

And it would make me even more annoyed when they start again 

When the fuck will I ever get out of the this mind-numbing annoyance? 

When I’m dead. 

That's when all the noise 

Will turn to 

Silence.
